About us

Tanja Manov dipl. art therapist

Tanja is an art therapist with many years of experience working with older people, including those living with dementia, facing illness, or navigating depression and major life changes. Through creativity, movement, and gentle guidance, she helps them cope with challenges and reconnect with moments of joy and meaning in everyday life. She works individually and in groups, and also supports families in building stronger, more caring connections with their loved ones. Her method is based on integrating the body, mind, and inner world, always focusing on the strengths and resources that remain—sometimes hidden, but never lost.

Ingrid Primozic, BA MA

Ingrid is dedicated to supporting older adults, families, and professional caregivers. With a Master’s focus on dementia and trauma, she combines expertise with empathy to guide people through the challenges of aging and memory changes. She has developed a social-therapeutic concept for seniors, designed to foster dignity, resilience, and meaningful connection in everyday life. Ingrid believes that aging holds not only challenges, but also opportunities for joy, creativity, and human growth.

Together we ...

... bring our experience, creativity, and compassion to support seniors, families, and caregivers. We believe that aging is not defined by limits, but filled with opportunities for connection, dignity, and joy. With Ageless and free, we want to create a space where people feel understood, supported, and inspired – at every stage of life.

Knowledge & Awareness

What is Dementia?

Dementia is more than forgetfulness – it describes changes in memory, thinking, and daily life caused by the brain. It comes in many forms, such as Alzheimer’s disease. With the right support, life with dementia can still hold meaning, joy, and connection.

Early Signs

Early signs may include small changes: forgetting recent events, struggling to find words, shifts in mood, or challenges with everyday tasks. Noticing these signs early opens the door to understanding, support, and more time to adapt together.

Myths & Facts

Dementia is often misunderstood. It is not simply a normal part of aging, and it does not erase the person behind the diagnosis. People with dementia can continue to share stories, laughter, and love. Replacing myths with truth helps us meet dementia with compassion.

Prevention Tips

While not every case of dementia can be prevented, healthy choices can protect the brain and support well-being. Staying active, eating nourishing foods, engaging socially, and keeping the mind curious all help nurture brain health at any age.

Tips for Caregivers

Everyday Support

Small routines and practical tools can make daily life easier – for both the person with dementia and their loved ones. Structure, gentle reminders, and a calm environment bring comfort and safety.

Communication

Patience, simple language, and attentive listening are key. Focus on feelings, not just words – a warm tone, eye contact, and kindness often say more than sentences.

Self-Care for Caregivers

Caring for someone with dementia can be rewarding, but also demanding. Taking time to rest, seeking support, and nurturing your own well-being is not selfish – it’s essential.

Joyful Activities

Shared moments matter more than perfection. Music, movement, creative projects, or simply enjoying nature together can bring joy, spark memories, and strengthen connection.
